It's officially one week until I get to go home! While I am really excited, I am not looking forward to taking my finals which are this weekend. I already feel overwhelmed by studying and I'm just at the very beginning. Yesterday, as a very nice break from doing work, Richard and I went to dinner. We both missed sushi (I have it all the time at home and there aren't very many good places to choose from here,) so we found a place on State St. that was actually really good!

We had a really nice walk back to the dorms, as it wasn't too cold last night. I really wanted dessert (I always do...) but there weren't many places open, so we stopped at Starbucks and got three cake pops. I was a bit skeptical, but they were actually great! We had birthday cake (vanilla cake with vanilla frosting), rocky road (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, marshmallows, nuts), and peppermint (chocolate cake with peppermint frosting and candy canes). Then we had hot chocolate with more candy canes, and watched my favorite christmas movie of all time (and maybe my favorite movie ever), Love Actually!
Bex! you inspire me so much.... i love your taste in food and i know how hard it is to eat good food when in college... your efforts are truly inspiring
